'V' as in 'Velocity'. Most critical airspeeds are marked on the airspeed indicator and are referred to as 'V' speeds. In this case, we are asked which V-speed represents max. flap extended speed. Take a look at the possible answers. VFE for 'velocity flap extended' would be a good choice and that is, in fact, the answer. Most V-speeds are this obvious, but some are not, so always consult the POH so you know what speeds to use for the aircraft you are flying. |
